Unsigned Rock Band The Voodoos To Open The MTV EMAs This Weekend

DUBLIN, IRELAND (Top40 Charts/ Voodoos Official Website) This Sunday, unsigned Irish rock band The Voodoos will perform live at the MTV EMAs in Belfast - thanks to Hyundai Veloster, the official wheels of the event.

The Voodoos won a battle of the bands contest organised by the sponsor and will not only take to the stage in front of the world's music fans but also indulge in a rock and roll weekend of shopping, styling and hotel living.

The band uploaded their track 'Yesterday's Future' to Hyundai's Facebook app and secured a mass of votes from fans online, making them a leading contender among the almost-450 videos submitted for the top prize. The MTV jury - headed by Albert Schilcher, VP of Music & Music Marketing at MTV Networks International - cited the band's phenomenal energy and great song-writing skills in awarding the ultimate victory.
