Down South Block Starz Features Controversial "Waffle House" Song, Lil' Flip, And Mannie Fresh Artist
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Block Starz Music) German-American online music company Block Starz Music LLC has scheduled the release of its long-awaited DOWN SOUTH BLOCK STARZ compilation for later this month. Block Starz Music has also released the official music video to the compilation's first single, "After The Club" (formerly "Waffle House"), by Havana, Florida rapper J.R. Bricks, who made national headlines in August after the label received a cease and desist letter from Waffle House, Inc over the song's title that sparked controversy and outrage in the online Hip-Hop community.

DOWN SOUTH BLOCK STARZ is the fourth installment of Block Starz Music's critically-acclaimed regional compilation series which has previously featured the likes of platinum-selling Rostrum/Atlantic Records artist Wiz Khalifa and recent Bad Boy/Interscope signee Machine Gun Kelly. The 12-track online digital release will be available from Block Starz Music for download on iTunes, Amazon, and Rhapsody on Tuesday, November 22nd.

DOWN SOUTH BLOCK STARZ will contain original music by various new and established independent urban artists from the southern United States, including sizzling contributions by former Cash Money Records super producer Mannie Fresh's protege The Show, a surprise appearance by Lil' Flip ("Like A Pimp", "This Is The Way We Ball") on Louisiana rap duo Southern Dynasty's "Pop A Band", and an exclusive remix to J.R. Bricks "After The Club" featuring Block Starz Music affiliates Cin'atra Da Mobsta and AG.

"We're giving fans some Down South music to enjoy with their down home cooking this holiday season," says Block Starz Music vice president of A&R Peppy Johnson of the DOWN SOUTH BLOCK STARZ compilation. "It's a perfect way to cap off a tremendous year for our company."
