California Rock Guitarist Alastair Greene To Release New CD

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Alastair Greene Official Website) I'll have an official release date soon with early November as the goal. I am also proud to announce I will be releasing this CD on Le Roi Records. Le Roi Records is a Santa Barbara based independent label. More info on that coming soon!

As mentioned several times over the last year or so, this is a ROCK CD! You'll hear lots of heavy Blues influences and some Americana influences as well, but make no mistake, it's ROCK! :)

I wrote and performed this song originally in a band called Scarecrow that I played with between 1992 and 1995. I was able to recruit 2 former members to help in the recording, Misha Feldmann on bass and Chris Chalk on harmony vocals. Former Dishwalla drummer George Pendergast handled ye ole' drums and I did the guitars and lead vocals. As a special treat I was able to get one of my favorite guitarist that I was very much influenced by at the time, Ty Tabor from King's X to do a guitar solo trade off with me. So awesome!!! You'll hear me start the solo first in the left speakers and then Ty comes in and answers in the right side. We trade a few melodies and then he carries most of it out through the end of the solo. I couldn't be more thrilled, so click it!
