Chicago Headline La Charity Event For The Visually Impaired, 10.22
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Chicago, who former President Bill Clinton recently called one of the "most important bands in music since the dawn of the rock and roll era," will perform at a special fundraiser this Saturday, October 22, at the Saban Theatre in Los Angeles. The band will perform some of their greatest hits as well as songs from their new holiday album 'O Christmas Three,' produced by Phil Ramone.

'O Christmas Three' is Chicago's 33rd record and third album of holiday music. The album features the "legendary rock 'n roll group with horns" jamming with the likes of Dolly Parton, America, Steve Cropper, and BeBe Winans. The multi-platinum group is showcasing songs from 'O Christmas Three' on tour in the US throughout the fall.

Hosted by LA Dodgers General Manager Ned Colletti and TalkRadio 790 KABC, all ticket sales for the event will benefit the Guide Dogs of America and The Foundation Fighting Blindness. Guide Dogs of America is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing guide dogs to qualified visually impaired individuals. The Foundation Fighting Blindness is a national nonprofit driving sight-saving research that leads to preventions, treatments, and cures for the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases.

Generous supporters of numerous charities throughout the year, Chicago donates a portion of each ticket sold to the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation, which seeks a cure to the fatal children's disease, Niemann-Pick Type C, and to Hannah & Friends, which works to improve the quality of life for children and adults with special needs. Chicago also supports WhyHunger, the leading non-profit in the fight against hunger and poverty, and The American Cancer Society.

Tickets for this Saturday's event can be purchased at www.kabc.com and donations will also be accepted on-site.
