NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) Will.i.Am, member of Black Eyed Peas, has hit out at those who indulge in internet piracy after one of his previously unreleased tracks leaked online today.
The R&B superstar was shocked to discover that 'Great Times' had appeared online in an unfinished state and slammed the people behind the leak as "disrespectful". He told his Twitter fans about his anger at the situation, and wrote:
"Great times" the song that's leaked is the wrong version, wrong music, the wrong song...(The internet is so disrespectful)...I hate leaks.
I never wanted that version to be released...I am soo angry right now...who leaked this???...this is not how it should be...not cool!!! You can't just release music until all the business is handled...collaborators, publishers, copyrights...(business)...this in disrespect."
