Elixir On Mute's "Monster" Of A Tour Kicks Off This Wednesday At Church In Boston

Westport, MA (Top40 Charts/ Elixir On Mute official website) Newly-formed American progressive rock band Elixir On Mute kick off their first tour of the US this week on October 19 at Church in Boston.

Songwriter and guitar virtuoso Jordan Ferreira is the central figure to Elixir On Mute. The group formed in early 2010 after a chance meeting between Ferreira and drummer Thomas Pridgen (ex The Mars Volta, The Memorials).

A host of respected players since joined the project including bassists Jon Reshard (Prince, The Memorials) and Steve Jenkins (The Roots, Adam Deitch) guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (Guns N Roses) and many others in the studio and on the road.

Pridgen remains a studio stalwart but will not be touring at this time. Ferreira, along with Reshard on bass and Padget Nanton on drums will hit be touring this fall. The dates are:
