AllurA And Thousand Watt Stare
LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Earshot Media) Hailing from the South Bay of Los Angeles, AllurA's in your face sound combines an aggressive metal feel with a melodic backbone giving music fans of all genres something to talk about.

Having been given the opportunity to perform on every Warped Tour from 2007-2010, as well as playing extensively throughout the Los Angeles circuit, AllurA has been able to create a family of friends and fans alike to share their music on a national level.

Recently featured on Vans TV's 'Pass the Bucket' series, Fletcher Dragge of Pennywise talks about the work and struggles AllurA has been through over the years along with the opportunities he and Ken Seaton of Hardline Entertainment have been able to present to them over the years. The bands core, brothers Chris Bartholomew & A.J. Bartholomew, along with rhythm guitarist Taylor Killam, decided Chris' energy was hidden behind the drums and needed to be brought to the front on the stage as lead vocalist. With the addition of the rhythm section of L.A. natives Adam Romine & Brandon Brown, AllurA's new lineup was in full effect.

After recently finishing their highly anticipated sophomore full-length 'True Colors' at 'The Porch' in Hermosa Beach , the album is set to release late summer 2011 on Hardline Entertainment.

Upcoming AllurA shows:

Fri, 21 Oct Canyon Country, CA Trails Tavern
Sat, 22 Oct Idyllwild, CA Bone Daddys Bar and Grill
Thu, 27 Oct Los Angeles, CA AMPLYFi
Sat, 29 Oct Hermosa Beach, CA Saint Rocke

About Thousand Watt Stare (www.facebook.com/thousandwattstare) :

From his early punk days with Dee Dee Ramone to current performances with Corey Taylor of Slipknot, guitarist Christian Martucci is no stranger to diversity. In 2010 he recruited bassist Pat Kim, drummer Dylan Howard of Unwritten Law and THOUSAND WATT STARE was born. The trio released their debut EP, recorded in just one day, to enthusiastic reviews. Amp Magazine hailed them as "the saviors that rock music has been looking for," while publications such as Roar Music Press called them "pure rock n' roll genius." The band spent the rest of the year touring the west coast and began selling out venues as far as San Diego. They added 2nd guitarist Trevor Howard and returned to the studio in 2011 to begin work on their debut full-length album "Silver Dimes." The new album takes a shift from the straight ahead punk-influenced rock n' roll heard on their early EP to much heavier, darker territory. "I've been in a few bands over the years that were expected to sound a certain way and it just never made me happy," says Martucci. "It's all about feel... That's the thing that makes this band special to us. There are no rules." Look out for Thousand Watt Stare's new album "Silver Dimes" to hit the shelves in October 18, 2011 via Hardline Entertainment.

Upcoming Thousand Watt Stare shows:
Sat, 08 Oct Oceanside, CA Beach Club
Thu, 20 Oct West Hollywood, CA Whisky A Go-Go
Sat, 12 Nov San Diego, CA Brick By Brick
Sat, 03 Dec San Diego, CA the Shakedown Bar
