NEW YORK (Frankee Official Newsletter) - Following two months of globe-wide touring,
Frankee makes her eagerly awaited album debut with "The Good - The Bad - The Ugly" hot on the heels of the continued international success of the single "F.U. Right Back" which recently debuted at UK's No 1 (over 2 million worldwide).
Frankee explodes onto the scene with the awesome album that spans the whole relationship spectrum.
The 11-track album is in three parts - The good (I Do Me, How You Do, In Love With Me, I'm Leaving, Gotta Man) that represents all the experiences that are "the testament to the endless possibility of happiness." The bad (Who The Hell Are You, Him, I Told You So) reflects "the constant change that relationships go through, lessons learned allowing you to move on." The ugly (Hell No, Don't Be Mad, F.U.R.B. - F U Right Back) taps into the anger and rage when relationships end poorly to build character - "the good disappears far into the distance and the bad is magnified."
Frankee's debut effort has been exclusively produced with industry legends the Trackmasters (NAS, Destiny's Child, Mariah Carey, Brandy, R. Kelly, Jay-Z, Will Smith) along with grammy award winner Rich Harrison (Beyonce's smash hit song Crazy in Love feat. Jay-Z); Troy Taylor producer for Aretha Franklin, Boyz II Men, Tyrese; Makeba Riddick writer for Bad Boy, B2K, Janet Jackson, and upcoming producer Chris Liggio who wrote Frankee's forthcoming summer single "How You Do" which is a combination of a great R&B track with super harmonious pop melodies.
"How You Do" (out in May 2004) is already creating industry buzz with its sharp lyrics mixed with its up-tempo beat. "Gotta Man" in contrast is a soulful tune with smooth lyrics and guest vocals from Makeba "Wonderkid" Riddick. "Hell No" offers more dynamic vocals and sassy lyrics sure to be a hit with the girls! The up-tempo F.U.R.B. marks the album's powerful finale with the controversial and provocative vocals Frankee has become synonymous with.
Frankee (21) believes "I am focused on giving everybody good music with real messages. I enjoy sharing myself and my experiences with others through music because music is a release for me. The lyrics on the album are emotionally stirring I think women can connect to them.
The album is dedicated to my mother - the most creative woman I know".
