D-win Releases "Winning On Em" Mixtape Presented By Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Promotions
Miami, FL (Top40 Charts/ Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes) Hip hop artist D-Win recently released his latest mixtape "Winning On Em." Presented in association with Hustle League Entertainment and Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes, the project is available at https://www.coast2coastmixtapes.com for free download. "Winning On Em" features remix and original tracks, including the single "Who Got It," featuring Dorrough Music.

Born Demar Winston in North St. Louis, Missouri, D-Win has managed to overcome slim odds and rise from a city with one of the worst crime rates in the nation. Influenced by music at an early age, D-Win began writing and performing at age nine for any audience that would listen—everywhere from churches, to schools, to community centers. Unfortunately, while trying to balance music, sports, and the street life in high school, D-Win was hit with a wake up call when he was caught and charged with possession of an illegal substance with intent on school grounds. Although he escaped major jail time, he was expelled from school. Allowed to return his senior year, D-Win managed to get back on track and earn a full athletic football scholarship to Southeast Missouri St. University. Soon after, tragedy struck D-Win and his family when his older brother, Darius McCaskill, fell victim to gun violence and was slain. Devastated and down, but not out, he used this tragedy as motivation to push ahead and be successful for his brothers name and legacy.

Though playing college ball, D-Win's heart was always in his music, leading him to form a group with two friends. The three began recording songs and performing at shows, parties, and freestyle battles to high acclaim. After starting at cornerback four years and graduating from SEMO, something that many black men haven't accomplished in the area he's from, life changes eventually broke up the group. But D-Win decided to pass up a white-collar desk career to pursue his dream in the cutthroat music business as a solo artist. With shows under his belt opening for major acts such as Lil Wayne, Twista, and YoungBloodz to name a few, as well as distributing thousands of street mixtapes throughout the St. Louis metro area, D-Win and his fans have always felt his time was near coming. With a unique voice, unprecedented lyrical content, and a style all his own, D-Win is a full-range artist who can give you a look into the harsh realities of inner-city life as well as feel good music to keep any party going. Partnering with the up-and-coming powerhouse Hustle League Entertainment assembles the perfect match, as his future in the game is much in line with the label's slogan: "Failure is Not an Option!"
