LOS ANGELES (Jennifer Pena Official Website) - Jennifer Peña, one of the leading Hispanic entertainers in the Latin music industry has reached the No 1 position on the Latin music sales chart in the U.S. with "Seduccion," her sophomore effort with Univision Records, according to the most recent SoundScan report. In like manner, her first promotional single "Vivo Y Muero En Tu Piel" (I Live And Die In Your Skin) has already become a smash hit and has remained in the No1 position of the Billboard "Hot Latin Tracks" for two weeks in a row.

For the week ending May 23, 2004, "Seduccion" (Seduction) reached the No1 position of national Latin music sales instantly in the continental U.S. At only one week of its release, there is no doubt that "Seduccion" is bound to become one of the hottest Latin albums in 2004.

"Vivo Y Muero En Tu Piel" (I Live And Die In Your Skin), penned by Rudy Perez, remained in the No1 position for two consecutive weeks, according to Billboard magazine. Undoubtedly, "Vivo Y Muero En Tu Piel" promises to be yet another smash radio hit for the talented perfomer, and "Seducción" will establish Peña as one of the leading and most influential Latina recording artists in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Latin America.
"It gives me great joy and satisfaction to know that my album debuted at No1 in sales on the first week of its release, and that "Vivo Y Muero En Tu Piel" has remained for two weeks at the top of the Hot Latin Tracks. We truly invested a lot of love and hard work on this new album, and I think this is reflected on every song and every component of the final product," stated Peña.

Produced by three of the most respected and renowned producers in Latin music: Rudy Perez, Kike Santander and Emilio Estefan Jr., the album is comprised of 10 original tracks with 3 added bonus tracks. The album is also offered as a CD/DVD combo that features the music video for the first single "Vivo Y Muero En Tu Piel" (I Live and Die In Your Skin); behind the scenes footage of her recording session with all three producers; and footage of the "Making Of" her music video.
The DVD also includes the bonus video "Vamos Al Mundial" (Let's Go To The World Cup), which was the Univision theme song for the 2002 World Cup coverage.

Undoubtedly, Jennifer Peña has stepped up to the challenge and has become one of the most complete and established artists in Latin music. She has taken advantage of her talent in both the Pop and Regional Mexican genres, becoming one of the most prolific and promising young artists that thousands of Latino children and teenagers have adopted as a key role model in their lives.
Let Jennifer Peña 'seduce' your senses and your heart with "Seduccion."
