Wiz Khalifa has been nominated for an outstanding 9 nominations at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards, earning the second most nominations for the night. These new nominations come as no surprise after the enormously successful year for the rapper saw multi-platinum singles, 2 headlining tours and the release of his major label debut, "ROLLING PAPERS," which has been RIAA-certified Gold. Wiz' nominations include "Best Club Banger," "Rookie of the Year," "Track of the Year," "CD of the Year," "Made You Look Award" "Verizon People's Champ Award," and "Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse," for his notable rhymes on the remix to Cee Lo Green's "Bright Lights, Bigger City" and British MC Tinie Tempah's "Til I'm Gone." Wiz is also nominated for the most coveted award of the night, in the "MVP of the Year" category, which sees him up against Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, and Kanye West.
