The Rapture Has Arrived... New Album Out Today On DFA Records
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Girlie Action Media) The Rapture releases today their highly-anticipated new record In The Grace of Your Love. Produced by Philippe Zdar (Phoenix, Beastie Boys, Chromeo), the writing and recording process for In The Grace of Your Love connected the band back to why they started playing music in the first place.
Drummer Vito Roccoforte explains that they 'focused on the process more than the results. We approached the album in a fearless manner, with nothing to lose.' By recapturing the fun and love for the process, the results were definitely a win. The album can be streamed in its entirety at DFA's Soundcloud.

'...a sonic Jenga of clattering piano, keening vocals, and funkadelic percussion that builds to a delicious frenzy of more-cowbell boogie.' - Entertainment Weekly

'nod to their past without repeating themselves, delivering euphoric, head-bobbing electro-rock for grown-ups.' - ELLE Magazine

'euphoric disco bangers, guitar rock, and straight-up pop' - Esquire Magazine

'Grace is fleshier than its predecessors, with horns, needlework guitar, and Jenner's brash voice filling the negative space the band used to gift to the dance floor. They deftly respond to choral background vocals, funky synth slabs, and tasteful guitar fills. A group that was once a combustible ball of energy is now a functioning nervous system with a keen sense of pace and texture.' - Pitchfork

'icons of an era call us back to the floor' - FADER Magazine

The band are now wrapping a run of European shows and gearing up for their massive US fall tour. They recently played a preview show on August 20th at Music Hall of Williamsburg, a gig that Spin Magazine called 'sweaty, triumphant hometown return performance.' Catch them live at one of the below shows!
