NEW YORK (Ozzfest Official Website) - Black Sabbath will reunite for Ozzfest, in July in Hartford, Connecticut, according to the Ozzfest Web site.
Three original Black Sabbath members, Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommiand Geezer Butler, and Mike Bordin, a member of Osbourne's band, will perform 26 shows.
Billy Ward reportedly had been asked to return to the band, headed by singer Ozzy Osbourne, but rejected the contract. "It was a cul-de-sac proposal, in my opinion, where the only answer was yes or no," Ward said.

It will be their first live appearance since 2001. Ozzfest also will include a reunited Judas Priest, Slayer, Dimmu Borgirand Superjoint Ritual, featuring Phil Anselmo.
