New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Urban Wrestling Federation, which took the country by storm this summer with the debut of "First Blood," a combination of hip-hop artists, music and professional wrestling, announced today that it will debut it's first ever promotional mix tape.
The CD will feature tracks by the artists featured in the UWF including: the newly added Triple C's - Gun Play, Torch, Young Breed; and Chicago's hottest underground group, L.E.P. Bogus Boys; along with UWF stalwarts 40 Glocc, Red Café, Brisco, Melle Mel, Big Block, Uncle Murda, Billy Blue and Cuban Link.

The mix tape is scheduled for release coinciding with the premiere of the second UWF battle on pay-per-view, "Hood Justice," scheduled to debut on all major pay-per-view platforms, Sunday September 25th 8pm est and 5pm pst.

The highly anticipated musical collaboration is hosted by one of New York City's premiere hip-hop club deejays, "The Prince of New York, DJ Self," who's also known for his regular sets on New York's Power 105 FM and national Sirius/XM Radio.

"DJ Self is at the top of the game; we knew that he and his son are fans of the UWF, so he was the perfect DJ to have host the mix tape," said UWF Boss, Steve Karel. "He has an unmatched vibe on his radio shows, and we've spent many amazing nights listening to Self pump the beats in NYC's premiere hip-hop clubs."

UWF artists will be distributing the promo mix tape at their upcoming performances and will be distributed across the US at various events, concerts and appearances. Forthcoming, the compilation will be available for free via digital download on https://www.UrbanWrestlingFederation.com.

The Urban Wrestling Federation, which debuted earlier this summer with "First Blood," a dynamic and exhilarating performance that combined the worlds of hip-hop music and professional wrestling was created by television and live events veteran, Steve Karel. The inaugural battle was filmed live at New York's famed Hammerstein Ballroom on June 3rd, as well as various other locations around the country, and was viewed by thousands as part of 100+ showings on all top pay-per-view and video on demand platforms. The second installment of the UWF, "Hood Justice," is scheduled to premiere in the US on Sunday September 25th 8pm est and 5pm pst.

The UWF has raised the action bar of professional wrestling to a never before seen level of entertainment. ‘First Blood,' was shown on iN DEMAND, DIRECTV, DISH Network and TVN Ent as will "Hood Justice."
