"Try To Hard" is the debut single from HOLES AND HEARTS upcoming second release. "Try Too Hard" was recorded at "Mpulse Studios" in Las Vegas, NV with Grammy Nominated producer/engineer Frank "Blame" Macek.

"This record shows a lot of growth for us. We really focused on the song writing and melodies, as we realized we don't have to melt peoples faces off on every song we put out" says guitarist Casey, who at the time of recording their self titled debut album was the ripe old age of 11 years old. "I'm really excited about the new songs, they are a more defined sound for us with a lot of intensity and twisted lyrics" adds singer Riley, who is Casey's younger brother.
HOLES AND HEARTS self titled debut album, HOLES AND HEARTS, debuted in May of 2009 on indie label Mongrol Records and featured the two singles "Another Little Sucker" and "Just A Broken Heart" which made their way onto mainstream Active Rock radio in the US. The single "Another Little Sucker" was the No 6 most requested song at KOMP 92.3 FM radio stations Laurie Steele Show in Las Vegas, NV in 2010. The album garnered a strong online presence in the world of rock and alternative music with a noted heavy fan following as far away as Japan, Italy, Norway, England and Slovenia. The band has been nominated as an "ARTIST ON THE VERGE TOP 100" at the LA New Music Seminar, as well as one of the "Stars Of Tomorrow" for the upcoming VRMA's Awards Show being held in Las Vegas on August 21, 2011 in the Elvis Presley Showroom at the Las Vegas Hilton. They also recently covered the Black Carpet at the REVOLVER Magazine Golden Gods Awards 2011 Show on VH1 Classic for Full Metal Rock.
