New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Cosmic Nomads) Cosmic Nomads are going to keep the tape rolling when they head into the recording studio in October. The band is booked for sessions with engineer Tim Roebuck at an undisclosed location. "Initially we were going to record one or two songs with Tim but while we are there all vibed up we will keep the creative process going for as long as we feel it's working" said frontman Ray Vanderby in a recent interview with a Rural Press newspaper. Cosmic Nomads have been in rehearsals since June after Vanderby reformed the band siting a new passion. ray walked into a music store earlier this year and started playing every serious electric guitar plugged into a Marshall stack. He walked out with a guitar case containing a new Gibson Explorer and hasn't been heard of since, well, almost. For all of his musical career Ray Vanderby has been a keyboard player and always written songs on a piano or keyboard of some sort. Ray said "I woke up one morning and realised that most of the hits throughout musical history have been written and based around the guitar, so I made the decision to teach myself how to play". It will be interesting to hear the outcome later in the year when the band plan some new releases.
