ADDITIONAL: As we approach the 35th Anniversary of Harvey Milk's assassination (2013), there is a story to be told that will both commemorate the legacy of Harvey Milk the impact of that legacy on diverse communities. SFGMC and its partners look to create a multi-disciplinary performance piece to tell that story. This collaboration is designed to bring cultural institutions and audiences together around a project that will promote cross-cultural understanding, entertain and inspire many audiences. Harvey Milk understood that to be free, all disenfranchised communities needed to work together and this project will be a shining testament to that vision.
