Couples 'Get To The Bottom Of Arguments' With New Cd By NY Trial Lawyer Turned Therapist, As Seen On Lifetime TV
Weehawken, NJ (Top40 Charts/ David S. Wilde Official Website) Psychotherapist and relationship coach David S. Wilde has released a CD, "Peeling the Onion and Mending Your Marriage," a "how-to" guide for couples, providing practical tools, techniques and guided meditations to help spouses escape endless bickering. David is a former NY trial lawyer who switched to the more amicable career of helping couples.

On June 15th, David appeared on Lifetime Television's morning show "The Balancing Act" to share his experiences teaching couples how to access and overcome "core" feelings hidden beneath the "skin of the onion" which fuel "secondary" behaviors, stemming from our brain's "fight-or-flight" reaction, and keeping spouses "stuck" in cycles of aggression, withdrawal, addictions and compulsions.

"The reason we argue is because we get stuck at the symptom level," David said, adding, "If you don't fix what's really going on, you're gonna stay stuck." The ego's adage is: "It's better to be right than happy." "Peeling the onion" requires disengaging from our "ego."

This is all "more difficult for men," David said, adding, "The good news is that men can do it." They just need to be shown how. He added, "It's almost a language that has not been taught to them," and he's seen very many men learn how.

A Massachusetts psychologist/hypnotherapist with over 20 years of experience described one CD meditation track as "... a transformative journey that leads you, step-by-step, and is exactly what we do in hypnotherapy ... Kudos to you, David Wilde," she said, "... for producing the most powerful and practical CD for couples in chronic conflict I've ever come across."
