New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Scrocca Entertainment Group) Well known Long Island band Ready In 10 has recorded an extremely emotional song to remind Americans how grateful we should be to our men and women in uniform. The song, "Freedom's Cry", written by Patrick W. Seminario, pays tribute to our troops as well as the victims of 9/11. The band's management, Scrocca Entertainment Group, has been getting requests for the song from radio and other media outlets. After that a large portion of the down load proceeds will continue to be donated to groups such as Wounded Warrior Project and Disabled American Veterans. The band has a music video for "Freedom's Cry" in the works. Sal Nastasi, Ready In 10's lead singer said that the band wants to donate the proceeds from "Freedom's Cry" as the band's way of saying "Thank you!" to our troops for all of the sacrifices they make. The lyrics from "Freedom's Cry" are very powerful with versus such as "ten years gone we'll never forget" and "say a prayer for the Gallant Warriors". The band's management is working on television performances as well as live performances at various 9/11 anniversary memorials and veterans events. Ready In 10 was formed by childhood friends Sal Nastasi and Marc Viola. The band's name was taken from the universal time a Chinese restaurant let's you know when your order will be "ready in 10 minutes". Ready In 10's music can be heard on satellite radio, Pandora internet radio, college radio and MUZAK. The band's song "Beside You" has been played over 2 million times on MUZAK and they now have the song "Charlotte's Waltz" on MUZAK's FM1 satellite program. Ready In 10 won the 2008 International Acoustic Music Awards for their song "One More Chance". The band has several licensing deals for film and television song placements. Ready In 10 is rounded out by Mike Elefante on bass and Michael Moore on drums. Ready In 10 has raised money for various charities in the past including the ALS organization.
