YellowHammers Hit Minneapolis On July 2, 2011
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ YellowHammers Official Website) Chicago roots-rock group YellowHammers will be bringing their live show to Minneapolis on Saturday, July 2nd. Performing at Kieran's Irish Pub, the band is excited to be back in Minnesota. "It's becoming our second home," said guitar player and vocalist Terry White. (The five-piece will also be playing to crowd of 12,000 at this year's JoeTown Rocks festival in St. Joseph on July 3rd.)

With a recent self-titled record that was produced by music legend Jon Langford (The Mekons, Waco Brothers), YellowHammers have been referred to as "Americana at its finest." The seasoned musicians have honed their sound with over a decade of songwriting, and show no signs of slowing down. "Every time we play a show, it gives us more momentum," said White.

Having shared the stage and studio with artists ranging from Joe Walsh and Billy Preston to Jane's Addiction and Smashing Pumpkins, YellowHammers currently perform throughout the Midwest. The group is touring in support of their latest self-titled release, which falls on the heels of three previous records.
