NMPA Annual Meeting To Feature: Keynote John Morton & Songwriter Icon Richard Marx

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ NMPA) The National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA), will host its annual meeting June 15th in New York City. Music publishers and songwriters will gather to discuss the state of the music publishing industry, and honor some of the nation's top songwriters.

The event will feature a keynote speech by John Morton, Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the Department of Homeland Security, who will discuss the agency's efforts to enforce copyrights against digital theft.

Among other event highlights is a performance by the 2011 Songwriter Icon Award winner, GRAMMY-winning multi-platinum artist, producer and songwriter Richard Marx.
