New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ I AM PR Agency) Rap Rock outfit White House Band (lead by
David E Beats) has announced a July concert date with Slum Village. The anticipated show will take place at The Knitting Factory on July 21st. Tickets are $20. The concert will be an additional date to The White House Band's Rap Rock Tour, which kicks off in DC on June 9th, and will head to Baltimore (June 10th), Nashville (June 18th), and NYC (July 7th) with Mickey Factz. In additional news, The White House Band's new music video for the debut single "Wasup!" (Directed by Kristopher Rey Talley) was banned from MTV stirring up controversy for its edginess and the references to urban terrorism.

About White House Band
Brooklyn-based, White House Band is a loud, captivating, and energetic one-man band combining Rap, Hard Rock and Blues in its recordings. Since the formation in February 2010, the band has performed at the Time Out NY Make Music festival, headlined The DIY Bushwick Music Festival, participated in The YUME Fest, CMJ 2010, SXSW 2011. Among its music influences, the band lists Black Sabbath, Miles Davis, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Buddy Rich, Metallica, and Guitar players like Eric Johnson, Marty Friedman, Jimmy Page and of course Hendrix.
