NEW YORK (Lil Kim Fans Website) - Kimberly Jones, aka Lil' Kim, surrendered to authorities yesterday on charges of conspiracy to commit perjury, making false statements and obstructing justice, but the famous rapper maintains her innocence.
The 29-year-old star was released on $500,000 bail Wednesday after pleading not guilty to the charges stemming from a shooting incident in 2001 involving Kim and her entourage. If convicted, Lil' Kim could face up to 30 years in prison. Her attorney, Mel Sachs, called the charges "baseless."

Also charged in the case were her manager, Damion Butler, bodyguard Suif Jackson and a friend, Monique Dopwell. All pleaded innocent.
