NEW YORK (Lil Kim Fans Website) - Kimberly Jones, better known as rapper Lil' Kim, was charged today with conspiracy to commit perjury, making false statements and obstructing justice. The charges come in connection with a 2001 shooting that left one man injured.

Police claim Kim has refused to reveal the identities of any of her companions at the time of the shooting. She surrendered herself to authorities earlier today.
The shooting incident happened as Lil' Kim and her entourage left New York's Hot 97 radio station as rap duo Capone-N-Noreaga and friends arrived.
