Jake Records Signs Money B For New Album
Las Vegas, NV (Top40 Charts/ Jake Records) Jake Records, a leading independent record label, today announced a new partnership with Hip Hop recording artist Money B. The label has paired with the artist's Mandatory Muzic label to release the upcoming second solo album from the Digital Underground member. The album, yet to be titled, is slated for release later this year. The album is the first commercial solo project from Money B since 2000, though his Mandatory Volume 1 mixtape was released in 2007, and became an instant hit among fans. The new project features collaborations involving a number of top producers, including DJ Premiere. "This is going to be one of those talked about albums, that once it drops, will be on the collective mind of Hip Hop fans for years and years to come," said Jake Records founder and CEO Scott Thomas. "Money B is a seasoned veteran in the game, who knows how to make a project not only come to life, but live on forever once its hit the ground," he added.

Money B first began his career in mid 1980's as part of the Hip Hop duo Raw Fusion, along with DJ Fuze. The two would later join Digital Underground, with Money B taking a heavy role in the group's projects moving forward. He is prominently featured on some of Digital Underground's hottest hit singles including "Freaks of the Industry," "Same Song," "Kiss You Back," and "Cali Boogie," to name a few. He has also been featured on hit singles by Tupac Shakur, DJ Quik, Too Short, and Australian hitmakers Soma Rosa. His multi-decade career has lead him to tour all around the world, make television and movie appearances, and has earned him a solid place in Hip Hop history. Money B is often credited as having one of the most recognizable voices in hip hop.

On the release of the new album and partnering with Jake Records, Money B said "I'm exited to finally be working with Jake Records directly. I'm Looking forward to bringing my fans my signature style of music they know and love, as well as introduce them to new aspects of my musical growth."
