Jesse Abraham And Homeboy Sandman's Collaboration 'Always & Forever', Premieres On XXL
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Jesse Abraham Official Website) On May 17th, 2011 XXL.com premiered the first collaborative effort between two of New York City's most inventive emcees, Jesse Abraham and Homeboy Sandman. The song, entitled 'Always & Forever', was produced by K.O. Beatz and features additional vocals from San Francisco soulstress Corina Corina. Although this is the first time Abraham and Sandman have coexisted on a song, they are long-time musical collaborators.

Initially appearing on stage together in 2008, JA and Sandman went on to rock dozens of venues together, including NYC staples such as The Nuyorican and Joe's Pub, as well as the reputable SXSW Festival in Austin, TX.
Jesse explains, "This was a very natural musical pairing. We're both fans of each other's work, and we've been running in the same circle for a few years now. We record out of the same studio, have the same engineer and DJ and seem to appreciate the same art. It's a blessing to have Boy Sand on this track." According to Jesse, Sandman came up with the song concept, which was loosely based on elements of the film Napoleon Dynamite.

A song about destiny and artistic persistence, the lyrical dexterity and metaphorical complexities of 'Always & Forever' make it clear why these two wordsmiths stand out amongst the hundreds of talented up-and-coming rappers in today's hip-hop climate. As JT Langley of Ology.com puts it, the song "shows a continual growth in the development of Abraham's sound and signature lyrical flow. Homeboy shows up as always with some solid bars, and the track's got an overall soft mode that works lightly without crossing over into the overly sensitive." The song proved to be a battering ram for Jesse Abraham, as it marked his introduction into the realm of some of hip-hop's most celebrated websites, such as 2DopeBoyz.com, NahRight.com, HipHopDX.com and OkayPlayer.com.

Abraham released an EP entitled 'One Day' earlier this year, but all eyes on are on the emcee who DJBooth.net describes as "brimming with innovation, creativity and sincerity" as he sets the table for his first full-length release. 'One Day', the LP, will be comprised of the same original 10 tracks as the EP, with additional songs, freestyles, collaborations and remixes. The project will be available for free digital download on DJBooth.net on June 14th, 2011.
