Butterknife Wives Spread Their Infectious Rock Tone Straight Into Pittsburgh
St Clair Shores, MI (Top40 Charts/ Butterknife Wives Official Website) Butterknife Wives are bringing their amazing contagious rock riffs to Pittsburgh for a night of mayhem and wonder. On May 27th, Pittsburgh won't know what hit them when Butterknife Wives drive The Smiling Moose with the most authentic rock Detroit has to offer.

The Smiling Moose is located at 1306 East Carson Street in Pittsburgh, PA. The doors open at 9:30 PM, there is a $5 admission and it is a 21+ event. Also performing that night are Wolf Ram Heart, Big Hurry, and Dutch Courage.

Butterknife Wives formed in 2010 and since then have been described by TMSC Radio as an "awesome and very creative" band. Showcased is Jason Karman for his "mean guitar"(TMSC Radio 20 Feb 2011) playing ability, along with Kenny Kochajda's psychedelic grooving bass and Curtis Brown's plangent powerful drums. Their recent March 18th performance was featured on LiveDetroit.tv, where it has been seen by people from all over the World. With influences ranging in the avenues of Rock, Alternative, Blues, and even other genres such as Celtic, Reggae, and Progressive, Butterknife Wives has a heavy pallet they use to craft their sound. Although all members of the group have toured and played throughout the country, this will be the first of many extended ventures the group will undertake together.

After the show, the band will return to Michigan, where they are currently making arrangements to record their debut album. The band also is planning on playing some summer festivals.
