New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Black Mountain Productions) Black Mountain Productions is organizing and hosting the "Indie
Music Fest" in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 11 am to 11 pm at Sunset Park (2601 East Sunset Road, Las Vegas, NV 89120). The all day music showcase and festival is intended to promote national bands, green living, and build awareness of various social change and health initiatives. Bands from across the United States will perform in front of music industry professionals and judges on 3 stages throughout the day.
The 'Indie Music Fest," is designed to expose independent artists, writers and musicians who are on the verge of national recognition and utilize the spirit of their creativity and music to bring together residents and visitors to Las Vegas. Other festivities taking place throughout the day include: "Indie Fest Run (5k)" and "Indie Fest Walk (1k)," to benefit, Habitat For Humanity, custom car show hosted by Las Vegas Cruisin' Association, video game lounge powered by Games 2U, sports activities supported by Adrenaline- Unleashed and The Las Vegas 51 baseball league. Registration for the "Indie Fest Run/Walk starts at 7 am and the run/walk begins at 8 am sharp. VIP guests will have access to the "Indie Cause Lounge" throughout the day. A silent auction will take place in support of Susan G Komen, and representatives will be on site for Habitat For Humanity, Weight Watchers and Three Square - Feeding America as well. "The goal of "Indie Music Fest" is to promote independent music, enhance environmental consciousness and build awareness for charitable causes," states Joan Wilburn of Black Mountain Productions.
