BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) Multi-platinum selling singer and songwriter Jason Derulo returns with his first single since establishing himself as a pop sensation with a string of red-hot hits last year. Derulo will release "Don't Wanna Go Home," which he co-wrote with producers The Fliptones, on May 9th. The track is the first single from Derulo's eagerly awaited second album, Future History, which will be released by Beluga Heights/Warner Bros. Records in late summer.

"In the midst of all the turmoil in the world, I wanted to create a song that made you forget your problems," Derulo says. "So escape home, forget reality, and live it up!"

Fans who can't wait another week to hear "Don't Wanna Go Home" can get an advance listen today by RSVP'ing to an exclusive listening event at www.jasonderulo.com. Derulo is currently detailing his journey recording his new album via a series of Future History Webisodes that will be posted on his website every Friday. Derulo ruled the airwaves last year with his three smash hit singles, the 3x-platinum debut "Whatcha Say," the 2x-platinum "In My Head," and the 2x-platinum "Ridin' Solo," off his self-titled debut album, becoming the first male solo artist to score consecutive No. 1's on Billboard's Pop Songs radio airplay chart in the chart's 17-year-history with his first two entries. The Miami-born 21-year-old has sold more than 13 million singles and 850,000 albums worldwide. He has also streamed more than 328 million views on his YouTube Channel, which is in the Top 100 All-Time Most Viewed channels.
