LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts) PJ Harvey's 8th album, finds the singer turning her gaze outward, toward the political situation in her homeland of England. Harvey composed the music after writing the lyrics - a process that took her about a year and a half — and the dreamy nature of many of these songs directly contrasts the brutality within. The autoharp is the defining instrument here, and its slightly tinny tone creates an atmosphere that's not of this world. Yesterday, PJ Harvey has released a Video album for her album 'Let England Shake.' Directed by Seamus Murphy, all the singles have videos except for the song 'All & Everyone which will be shown next week. This her 1st album since 2007 album White Chalk, which gained rave reviews throughout the music industry. Let England Shake has been described as a quirky mix of stories, something Harvey is renound for with her music.
