LOS ANGELES, CA (Top40 Charts/ Prospect Park) In today's music industry, fewer artists reach the hallowed "Gold Record" mark than ever before. Even fewer have two albums go gold at the exact same time.
Five Finger Death Punch - one of the biggest success stories in metal and hard rock of the last five years - have done just that. Their second album, War Is The Answer just went RIAA-Certified Gold - and at the exact same time so did their first album, The Way of the Fist.

The band has announced that the first person to post a screen shot of Five Finger Death Punch's Facebook page on 5FDP's wall with one million Facebook fans will actually receive a Double-Gold plaque - the very same one the band and industry executives will receive for the seminal achievement of having two gold albums. Furthermore, that fan will be thanked in the liner notes of 5FDP's next album.
The "Double-Gold" phenomenon comes alongside news that Five Finger Death Punch's current hit single, "Far From Home" has been the No 1 Best-Testing Song at Mediabase's Rate-The-Music for an astounding eight weeks in a row. "Far From Home" has been a Top Ten hit at Active Rock for many months, peaking at No 2.
Five Finger Death Punch are currently in the studio working on their third record - which ARTISTdirect has already named one of the most highly anticipated of 2011.
