Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Emerson Bran Management) Grammy award winning, multi-instrumentalist, Justo Almario can be heard in yet another lively musical score in the upcoming 3D computer animated feature Film, Rio (Blue Sky Studios), which will be released this month on April 15th 2011 in theaters nationwide. Composed by John Powell, the musical score offers a Brazilian flair, and was specially written to set the ambiance of the plot -which is set in Rio, Brazil. George Lopez, will.i.am, Jamie Foxx, and Kate Del Castillo to name a few.
Justo Almario is known for continuously fusing Latin and jazz elements to different genres, and collaborating with a diversity of artists. He has recorded for numerous musical scores for films including Oscar-winning films such as Happy Feet and Sideways.
Justo Almario is highly respected and celebrated across the globe. This month, Justo Almario will be a part of the IV Congreso International in the Dominican Republic, "Musica, Identidad, Y Cultura En El Caribe (MIC) on April 15-17th. The 3-day multi-cultural conference will bring together scholars, artists and contributors to exchange knowledge and discuss cultural identity, experiences, and music of the Caribbean. This year's theme is, "El Jazz Desde La Perspectiva Caribena" ("Jazz from the Caribbean Perspective"), which will mark the first Caribbean Jazz theme at the MIC conference.
