Lil Wayne Forced To Cancel UK/European Visit

NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) Lil Wayne has cancelled his European Tour for the second time in two years! After axing a 2009 jaunt due to illness, the rapper has reportedly called off a string of summer dates following the denial of his UK visa application.

In a statement, the rapper's rep denies that he even applied to get into the U.K.:

"No visa was ever filed, nor were there any tour dates announced or tickets sold," the rep says.
"Lil Wayne is currently headlining his I Am Still Music Tour across the US and Canada with plans to extend the tour through North America this summer.
We hope to bring the I Am Still Music Tour to the UK in the later half of the year."
