Black Country Communion Release Artwork For Sophomore Album '2'
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ J&R Adventures) Black Country Communion, the English-American rock supergroup featuring the talents of bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Trapeze, Black Sabbath), blues rock guitarist/vocalist Joe Bonamassa, drummer Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin), and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater), have released the artwork for their much-anticipated sophomore album "2." The album will be released in the U.K. on June 13 on Mascot Records and in U.S. on June 14 on J&R Adventures.

On June 9, the band will kick off a U.S. Summer Tour in San Diego, CA. It will take them across the country with stops in Anaheim, CA; Salt Lake City, UT; St. Louis, MO; Indianapolis, IN; Hampton Beach, NH; Sayreville, NJ; and Washington, DC. The band will then head across the Atlantic for multiple dates in Europe and the U.K.

Black Country Communion's self-titled debut album was released in Sept. 2010 to rave reviews and entry positions of No 53 on Billboard's Top 200, No 18 on the Rock Albums Chart and No 6 on the Indie Chart. In the UK, it stormed to the No 1 position on the Official UK Top 40 Rock Album Chart; No 13 in the Top 40 Album Chart and No 2 in the Top 40 Indie Album Chart. It hit No 3 in Classic Rock Magazine's "Critics Album of the Year" poll, while Planet Rock radio listeners crowned them Best New Band of 2010.

Recent live shows in the UK in Dec. 2010 had The Birmingham Mail calling their performance "rip-roaring" and "breath-taking." The Express & Star said, "From the moment Hughes' thunderous bass riff introduced 'Black Country' it was like a torch had been lit underneath the famous old venue, the ghosts of rock Christmases past roaring into the present."

Eager fans can quench their thirst with a free download from BCC guitarist Joe Bonamassa's new critically acclaimed album "Dust Bowl." The album - Bonamassa's twelfth - entered the UK Album Charts this week at No 12. Download the first single "Dust Bowl" at www.jbonamassa.com/DustBowl.
