NEW YORK (Sum41 Fans Website) - Sum 41's juvenile antics are finally catching up to them. The band is being sued for throwing a hotdog at a man at a baseball game and video taping it.
Michael Sudore claims they taped the incident without his permission, and included it on 2002's "Cross the T's and Gouge Your I's" DVD, which accompanied the band's CD, "Does This Look Infected?." He only discovered the DVD after a client whose daughter bought the album, recognized Sudore. He has filed two lawsuits, seeking $6 million in damages. When contacted, Sum 41's lawyer had no comment.
The lawsuit, which targets the band, their label and manager Grieg Nori, also seeks a portion of the revenue from the sale of the DVD and also requests an injunction to halt sales of the CD-DVD package.
