NEW YORK (POD Fans Website) - Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin has been charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief after a Toledo, Ohio show reportedly degenerated into a drunken mess. Scantlin's band-mates abandoned him onstage after four poorly performed songs, during which the singer confessed he was "too f***-ed up" to perform, according to concert-goers. He then remained on stage for half an hour, shouting abuse at the crowd and singing songs that he seemed to be making up on the spot as the crowd reportedly pelted him with "whatever they had on hand". After dropping his guitar and exiting the stage, Scantlin was arrested backstage for disorderly conduct.
Additional charges of criminal mischief and misconduct were added when he spat in a police cruiser. Scantlin was released on a bond.
