Bret Michaels To Perform At Celebrity Fight Night In Support Of St. Joseph's
Phoenix, AZ (Top40 Charts/ St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center) Bret Michaels will perform at Celebrity Fight Night in Phoenix this Saturday to support and give thanks to Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Celebrity Fight Night benefits St. Joseph's Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center and Bret is St. Joseph's first patient to ever perform at the annual star-studded gala in honor of featured guest, Muhammad Ali. St. Joseph's recently treated the rocker for a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage and a heart condition.

"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to rock at Celebrity Fight Night in support of St. Joseph's," says Michaels. "St. Joseph's saved my life and I am grateful to be able to attend the charity event that benefits this amazing hospital."

Michaels will attend Phoenix's largest fundraiser alongside celebrities that include Muhammad and Lonnie Ali, Halle Berry, Kelly Clarkson, Reba McEntire, Billy Crystal, and Kevin Costner.

Celebrity Fight Night is recognized as one of the nation's elite charity events. Over the past 16 years, the event has raised nearly $65 million for St. Joseph's Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center and other charities. This year's Celebrity Fight Night will be held on Saturday, March 19 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix.

Michaels was rushed to St. Joseph's Barrow Neurological Institute last April after suffering from a subarachnoid hemorrhage. The brain hemorrhage left the musician in critical condition and hospitalized at Barrow for several days. He returned to St. Joseph's in January to undergo a heart procedure to close a hole in his heart.

Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is an internationally renowned medical center that offers care for people from throughout the world with brain and spine diseases, disorders and injuries. It includes the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center. U.S. News & World Report routinely lists St. Joseph's as one of the top 10 best hospitals in the nation for neurological and neurosurgical care.
