NEW YORK (U2 Official Website) - U2 guitarist The Edge is to perform the theme song for a new series of 'Batman'. The band's official website says that the series will reach television screens in the autumn.
U2 previously recorded 'Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me' for the 1995 film 'Batman Forever'.
Next week U2 will begin work with producer Steve Lillywhite on their forthcoming album. The as-yet-untitled disc is due later this year through Interscope/Island.
