Revoker Announce Partnership With Brittish Association Of MMA
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) Revoker are excited to announce that their debut single "Stay Down" will be released on February 27. The song is taken from their forthcoming debut album Revenge For The Ruthless.

The track has already captured the attention of the British Association of Mixed Martial Arts (BAMMA), who have adopted "Stay Down" as their official theme for 2011. Stay Down will make its theme debut at the highly anticipated BAMMA 5 event at Manchester's M.E.N. Arena on February 26 - and the band will be there to witness it!

The video for the track - to be shot in London on February 24 - will star one of BAMMA's top fighters.

With its fist-pumping refrain and bombastic guitars the song is a veritable brawler, making it a perfect choice for the partnership. "It's basically about a weekend where we live," declares Chris Green, lead guitarist. "We're the odd ones out in South Wales. We've got long hair, love heavy rock music, and don't play rugby. We're always having to fight back."

Liam Fisher, Vice President - Business Development, BAMMA said, "I've been a huge fan of Roadrunner Records for years. They've dominated the rock and metal genre by putting out some of the finest ever bands...Slipknot, Machine Head, Sepultura, Fear Factory, the list is endless. Partnering with Revoker makes total sense - they're fresh, British and ballsy, ready to make a very big splash on the industry...did I just describe Revoker or did I just describe BAMMA?"

BAMMA is the UK's premier MMA organization that launched in June 2009 with the aim of delivering Mixed Martial Arts events that fully capture the entertainment and sporting prowess on display in the world's fastest growing sport. To achieve this aim, BAMMA brought together a team of skilled individuals with a wealth of combined experience across Television Production Event Organisation and Mixed Martial Arts and set out to push the boundaries of British MMA. BAMMA's combination of arena sized venues, stunning fight cards and exceptional production values has led to BAMMA's unrivalled position as the UK's leading MMA promotion and most recognisable brand. With a highly experienced team and a presenting crew that includes OJ Borg and MMA legend Pierre Guillet, each BAMMA event delivers a highly anticipated and unique Mixed Martial Arts experience.

Over 835,000 viewers tuned in to watch BAMMA 4 which saw Alex Reid and Middleweight Champ, Tom 'Kong" Watson go to war in alive televised bout making it the most viewed UK MMA event ever. With new SyFy and streaming deals in action, BAMMA is truly leading the way in establishing British MMA on the world stage. For the very first time British audiences will now also be able to access Mixed Martial Arts live on non-subscription TV.

With plans for SyFy to screen all five BAMMA events over the course of 2011, BAMMA 5 will christen the airwaves at 9pm on February 26.

"Stay Down" will be available as a digital single from February 27 from all good digital platforms. Following an exclusive Radio 1 spin, 4pm today sees the band give the public their first taste of their debut at www.roadrunnerrecords.co.uk with a free mp3 download of the track "Thief." Revenge For The Ruthless will be released on May 2.
