Tanyon Sann Allison 'Dissidence' Compared To John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Ben Gibbard, And Isaac Slade
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Tanyon Sann Allison Official Website) This newcomer to the music industry just released his first EP album to the public this January and is expected to release his Debut self-titled album around the beginning of summer this year. Allison is a single striving artist that is often compared to John Mayer, Isaac Slade from The Fray, Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz. As this young college kid releases his 'small but kickin' EP album Dissidence, he has begun to start traveling through the region from Austin to El Paso to Colorado City. The two songs published on his Dissidence EP are Close But No Cigar and Dear Weekend. Allison will consider touring next summer throughout the region of his most popular fan base.

Close But No Cigar
(c)2011 Tanyon Sann Allison

Have you ever, been alone on the Forth of July,
You sit there lonely as things burst in the sky,
Have you ever...

Will you discover, all the markers and factoids in your life,
They try to guide you, but you swiftly decline,
Will you discover...

You Say you want fashion, you want fame,
But, its all the same to me.
Oh, How you sit with your guitar,
You were close but no cigar you see.

Its more than a man on Mars,
its the fact that it's so bizarre to me.
Its the beating of your heart,
as you look into her eyes,
could it be, destiny.

Will you ever, work up the courage to ask her to dance,
Maybe enough you can start a romance,
Will you ever...

Don't wait forever, Even though you know she just wants a kiss,
You're afraid that you just might miss,
Don't wait forever...

Ooooooooooohhh

You try to keep here, but she says stop all the dumb things in your life,
she says change or she'll get out of your life,
Then you loose her...

He was close but no cigar,
He had her then he fell apart,
and He looked at his life from the start,
and he decided it was far too dark,
Then he took a gun and raised it to his head,
And he took his very life,
He took his very life,
He took his very life that day.

And the Monument in the graveyard said,
He was close but no cigar,
Too bad he's dead.

Dear Weekend
(c) 2011 Tanyon Sann Allison

In the end it only matters who you know,
But, you're no good if you don't even know your own self,
You surf the net just to find you're alone,
But only cause there's a problem with your own line.

You're livin' check to check,
You're livin' week to week,
You find yourself dilapidated, livin' in a heap

I'm just tryin' to make it to the weekend,
P-p-p-p-p-prayin' for the weekend,
Yo, what's up, Hey There weekend,
Dear Weekend.
Dear Weekend.

I meant to leave this town an hour ago,
But I'm still here, my ear's caught up on the phone line,
In the end it only matters who you know,
But, you're no good if you don't even know your own self.

You're livin' check to check,
You're livin' week to week,
You find yourself dilapidated.

Well, I'm tryin' to make it to the weekend,
Well, I'm just livin' for the weekend,
Hey, what's up there weekend,
Dear Weekend.
L-l-l-l-l-livin' for the weekend,
P-p-p-p-prayin' for the weekend,
Yo, What's up there weekend,
Dear Weekend

Dear Weekend
Dear Weekend
