NEW YORK (Missy Elliott Forums) - Missy Elliott has had enough. After one to many fans complained about her weight loss on her web message board, Elliott responded in an open letter saying she lost the weight because she wants to live.
She says she still "represents" for overweight adults and kids, but she's always aware of the health issues. She's been diagnosed with hypertension and she's been seriously ill in the past, and her mother had a heart attack last year. She says some people felt she was poking fun in her video for "Pass That Dutch," but she says she just meant you should dress right for your body size.
