A companion to Cirque Du Soleil's 'Viva ELVIS' Las Vegas show, 'Viva ELVIS - The Album' is a triumphant reinterpretation of 12 classic Elvis tracks, including "Burning Love," "Suspicious Minds," "Blue Suede Shoes" and "It's Now or Never". Producer Erich Van Tourneau, musical director and arranger for the Cirque Du Soleil show, spent over 3,000 hours sifting through countless of the King's albums, films, concert recordings, TV appearances, interviews and home recordings, ultimately creating and weaving 19,000 samples into the album.
