Blue-eyed Soul Vocalist Austyn Announces Concept Ep/new Singles
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Austyn Official Website) R&B vocalist Austyn brings in 2011 with 2 new singles and the announcement of his first EP "Easy Way Out".

"Easy Way Out" is a concept album that tells the story of a teenager in crisis that eventually leads to a fatal accident and a life in prison. The first single from the record, "Off The Road", is a hard driving dance track with a hook you won't soon forget.

"I wanted to do something a little different this time around because there is much more to life and music than just writing about love or material posessions. I wanted to write a cautionary tale of how becoming an addict doesn't just harm yourself; it can and will harm and possibly kill those in your life who mean the most to you. This isn't a preachy record; I'm not trying to change anyone who may be dealing with these issues themselves. I just want to tell a story thats based on events that have happened millions of times through the years and hopefully something will resonate with those dealing with these kinds of issues and it can serve as a wake up call. If nothing else, I hope "Easy Way Out" is a record and story that people will listen to in the same way they would read a book or watch a movie; its all really just for entertainment and anything that can connect with people on a deeper level is a bonus. A lot happens over the course of these 5 songs and a lot of it is universally relatable to all human beings. This is also the most diverse music I've done and some of the most diverse vocals too; there's even a little bit of rapping in the final track "M.F.S.B." so its going to be an eclectic record."

The other new song, "These Games", is a throwback to the 1960s Motown sound with a modern flavor. It is sure to be a hit with fans of that vintage soul sound as well as those who enjoy modern day POP music.

Both new songs can be streamed for free on www.Facebook.com/austynmusic or www.Austynmusic.com. You can also purchase each track, along with Austyn's other singles, at iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, eMusic, and Napster.

Bio:

Combine smokey soulful vocals with smooth funk infused beats and you'll get the music of blue-eyed soul vocalist Austyn. Austyn's unique style combines elements of R&B past and present. "I like to take the style points that made the old Motown and Philly Soul music what it was and mix it with all of the different sounds available in the 21st century. My goal is to make music that reminds people of the golden age of R&B while still remaining current and commercial."

Austyn has worked with several of the top vocal coaches in the industry to hone his talents. The result of his work with world class vocal trainers such as Mark Baxter, Jaime Vendera, and Ankh Ra is a multi octave voice with dynamics ranging from a whisper to a scream. Austyn's unique tone and eclectic style gives him a distinctive sound that is all his own.
