New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Primary Wave Music) New York-based Primary Wave Music, one of the largest independent music publishing, marketing and management companies in the United States, has begun the new year by partnering with Scott "DJ Skee" Keeney, a multi-hyphenate media magnate and fast rising pop/urban producers Ryan & Smitty to separate deals, respectively. Los Angeles based DJ Skee, an established artist, radio personality and executive in his own right, has been signed to a management contract, while the west coast production duo of Ryan & Smitty have been signed to a co-publishing deal.

In addition to being one of the highest regarded DJ's in the world, Skee, who was recently named to Billboard Magazine's "Power Players: 30 Under 30," has four Sirius/XM radio shows, a show on KIIS-FM in LA, a leading media, marketing and online entertainment company in Skee.TV (which partnered with KamaloopTV.com to create a premiere lifestyle destination for the emerging "Verge Culture" demographic) and a live music experience called Skeetox. Beyond that, Skee plays host to countless mixtapes from artists like Snoop Dogg and Travis Barker and consults for top record labels and Fortune 500 companies such as Daimler-Chrysler and T-Mobile. While that may seem like a lot to take on a daily basis, DJ Skee has established himself as one of the hardest working men in media, simultaneously excelling at each endeavor he begins.

Ryan & Smitty met through mutual friends in 2008 in their adopted hometown of Los Angeles and instantly felt a spark of musical kinship. After years of separately working in complete opposite spectrums of punk and gospel music in Las Vegas and Detroit, Ryan & Smitty discovered writing pop hooks and developing artists as a team brought them the most satisfaction and success. Bursting onto the scene in 2009 with Chris Brown's "Go Away" (Jive), the duo have found further success with Jaicko Lawrence's single "Fast Forward" (Capitol) and have recently worked with artists such as Cymphonique, Mann, Jo Jo, and Cody Simpson.
