Bluesy Wake-up Call From Hibernation

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Runway 27 Official Website) Spring 2011 concert circuit takes Viennese blues duo Runway 27, Left through Germany and Austria.

Waking up 'sleeping beasts and beauties' in the post-carnival season in Germany and Austria, Runway 27, Left from Vienna, Austria, will sport their distinct acoustic-laden blues and roots sound by means of live performances in spring. The 'dynamic duo' plans to take listeners on a ride through the history of blues, throwing in occasional original songs.

Says lead guitarist Erich 'White Feather' Brandl, 'Peers have asked us why we would play fairly small places on our first-ever gig circuit with our new project Runway 27, Left. The point here is to create an intimate and immediate live music experience for the audience using what we have there - vocals, acoustic and semi-acoustic guitars of various shapes and sizes, and a banjo'.

Runway 27, Left is a blues project having former Trans Am/Sun Luca/Run Riot bass player Erich 'White Feather' Brandl and My Other Brother lead vocalist Anthony 'Tone' Kammerhofer team up.

The musicians (Erich Brandl - guitars, bass, backing vocals and Anthony Kammerhofer - lead vocals, guitars) try to reconnect with the roots of pop and rock music, calling their style 'In-Blues Entertainment'.
