Sacramento, CA (Top40 Charts/ Gigatone Entertainment) Gigatone Entertainment, a next generation entertainment company, has announced a partnership with a pair of revolutionary video technology companies, NewTek and TodoCast, to stream Gigatone's myRecordFantasy jam sessions and live concert over the Internet.
Innovative rock superstar Todd Rundgren stars in the latest of Gigatone's series of myRecordFantasy events Jan. 17-19, 2011, at the Track Shack Studios in Sacramento. The event brings fans from around the world into the studio for a once-in-a-lifetime experience to audition to play or sing on Rundgren's new record. In addition, fans will be attending and participating in nightly jam sessions with Rundgren and special guests.
In enlisting industry trailblazers NewTek and TodoCast, Gigatone will broadcast Rundgren's evening jams sessions and finale concert live via the Internet.

Gigatone will use a NewTek TriCaster portable live production system to produce and stream live Rundgren's myRecordFantasy concert and evening jam sessions. TriCaster is used by major players like MTV, VH1, WNBA, NBA Development League, Fox Sports, and the National Hockey League to deliver their network-quality live productions.
TodoCast provides its turnkey Internet broadcast platform including audience management, interactive and social networking features, satellite connectivity and SD / HD distribution. TodoCast will enable Gigatone to offer all of their entertainment content live on the Internet, monetizing with pay-per-view.
