LAS VEGAS (Pink Fan Websites) - Pink has launched a campaign to persuade Las Vegas showmen Seigfried and Roy to allow their elephant, Gildah, to spend the rest of its life in a wildlife sanctuary. The 55-year-old animal currently lives in a pen in the Mirage Hotel and Casino - where the illusionists' show has been shut down since Roy was mauled by a tiger in October. Pink sent a letter to the duo, pleading, "She's done her time, won't you let her go?" Pink has long been an outspoken animal rights activist. Other targets of the pop star's wrath this year have included Vogue Magazine's promotion of fur and Prince William's hunting habits.
