Northridge, CA (Top40 Charts/ 3000 Records) - Manny Freiser has a strong Rock background, incorporating influences ranging from The Rolling Stones, and The Doors, to Bryan Adams and Peter Gabriel, to Three Doors Down and Kings of Leon into his own unique style and sound. Having written the cult classics "Let's Talk About Girls" and "Cry A Little Longer," his music has become widely regarded as a precursor to 80's Punk. In the '70's, he had a Billboard Hot 100 single with Patti McCarron: a remake of Barbara Lewis' Hello Stranger. And he was Ian Messenger in the 80's, producing the college charting MTV staple, Livin' In The Night, even as he worked by day as a marketing executive for A&M Records and Quincy Jones' Qwest label. While interested in a variety of music styles, Freiser is also able to incorporate many different elements into his own music. His experience in multiple aspects of the music industry has given him rare insight into creating music and a style that is completely unique. This insight only came after years of trial and error with his own recording efforts. His approach to music more recently involves taking complete creative control over the project, allowing him to spend his time developing his techniques rather than second-guessing his work. The album "Believe" is a culmination of Freiser's work up to date as well as a glimpse of what to expect from him in the future. The album offers listeners a deeper understanding of his view on the creative and business side of the music industry. It has also given him a fresh perspective and attitude toward his previous recordings. He says, "I hear the tracks with more affection and acceptance, less second-guessing than I did before. Maybe it's comparable to becoming less self-critical, and accepting yourself as you are, flaws and all." Over the next few months, Freiser will be working in the studio, while releasing new tracks on Youtube and other media outlets. The new album "Believe" is currently available at CDBaby.com.
