Houston, TX (Top40 Charts/ Eric West Official Website) - In June actor/singer Eric West gave his fans a taster of what to expect from his long-awaited debut album with the song "Reckless," from his forthcoming album and even though the album won't arrive until late summer, to celebrate 1 million MySpace visits (currently over 815,000) West will preview the albums first single on his MySpace page.
West spent the last two years with film and television roles including NBC's Emmy winning 30 Rock, telling OK! Magazine, "I had given up on music. It was easier to become an actor and become someone I wasn't, music is from the heart and I couldn't get to that place the last two years, so I took a break from it, I've been recording for years, I needed a break from it."

While taking a break from music West became the face of Jed Foundation's ''Its On My Mind'' campaign shot by celebrity photographer Tyler Shields, which appeared in a number of national magazines.

West also became part of MTV's "Love is Louder" campaign created to build on the outpouring of support after the lives of multiple teenagers were lost to suicide in September 2010 which also featured Twilight's Kellan Lutz, Brittany Snow and Zac Levi. His clip became the websites "most-watched clip ever".
