LOS ANGELES (Alice Cooper Fan Website) - Alice Cooper has accepted a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. More than 300 fans turned up to cheer on the 55-year-old on Hollywood Boulevard. Alice Cooper said that "I promise every time I walk down this street I will polish that little star.
We would walk over the names of Vincent Price, Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi, never, ever thinking that our names would ever be on the Walk of Fame. That is really quite a privilege to be here."

Cooper, real name Vincent Furnier, made his name as leader of the Alice Cooper band in the 1970s. The band scored many hits including Welcome to My Nightmare, School's Out, Under My Wheels and No More Mr Nice Guy.
